The aim of the WISE (Wireless Interoperability Spectrum Explorer) project is to leverage the knowledge acquired by REDS in the past years in the field of Software Defined Radio (SDR) in order to provide a complete state of the art SDR solution enabling advanced experiments on modem interoperability and wireless spectrum utilization. The key factor to obtain a versatile SDR platform is the ease of use and configuration. Special care will be devoted to analyze this aspect with the target of providing, within the time frame of this project, a rich user experience in customizing and using the selected platform.
