The objective is to develop a stand-alone robot based on a platform with a control with the ROS (Robot Operating System) environment. The purchase of a platform is ongoing within the REDS institute. This project will aim to have a demonstrator of an autonomous robot for planting.
The project will build on an existing robot platform including a powerful microcontroller with the ROS environment and various sensors and motors. This robot will be completed with the necessary elements to simulate the watering activity and manage the positioning.
