Oscár Rogriguez Zalona Oscár

Óscar obtained his Bachelor in Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2008. He continued his studies at the Carlos 3 University in Madrid, where he specialized in artificial intelligence.

He has experience in software development and architecture, research and development, scientific programming, optimization, data science, quality assurance, real-time programming as well as embedded systems.

He continued his studies in 2017 with a Master in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Madrid. He came to Switzerland in 2018 at HEIG-VD
to develop his thesis on the in-depth learning of the interactions between bacteria and bacteriophages, associated with phage therapy.

He joined the REDS in April 2019 as a Ra&D employee in the institute’s software department.
